Well I have officially been to the BIG city for the first time since moving to New York. Well guess what I LIVE in New York. Yes it just now hit me! Crazy! The second we pulled into Grand Central Station I could not stop smiling. I just couldn't believe i was finally there in Manhattan. We took the subway (which is an ingenious yet scary mode of transportation.) to time square and when i got out I kept thinking wow its just like the movies... yet it is SO MUCH bigger. There was people everywhere and something interesting to look at no matter where your eyes traveled. Then we took the subway to Canal street or at least that was the plan. They came on the speaker saying we would skip the stop because of a police investigation (creepy yes) so then we were totally lost and we decided to get off when an angel in disguise asked us if he could look at our map and he ended up pointing us in the right direction. I am so glad he helped us! We almost just got back on the subway which would have been horrible! (Calm down parents nothing bad happened ha ha ) So we walked through Soho, Little Italy, and China town! It was so interesting! I loved it. Canal street was so busy, but i ended up getting Jessica the purse she wanted so it was succesful! By the end i realized i hadn't eaten or drinkin anything in about 7 hours and had walked miles upon miles... To say the least my head hurt and so did my feet. We took the train back to Chappaqua and ate dinner at Wendy's. Then we say "He's Just Not That Into You" I hated it. Don't see it if you still find marriage, love, and sex as sacred and not just another thing to be completely mocked and belittled. To give it some credit the ending almost, ALMOST, saved it. Well here are a few pics!
