A full heart makes room

When I was little I remember asking my mom who she loved the most, (my brother, sister or me) and of course like all good mothers she said she loved us all the same. I didn't understand that.

Now that I am older (and hopefully wiser) I understand more and more every day the amazing abilities love has. I am blessed to have so many people to love in my life in so many different ways. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my family, my best friends, a certain missionary, my kids in New York, my kids in Africa and a variety of other people. In reality I feel like there shouldn't be enough time in one day for all the thinking I do (cause of insomnia? :-p). Its funny because while I was taking care of Brie and Nate I would think there was no way I could love other peoples kids more than I love them or even as much. (Obviously my own kids aren't the question here, I already love them and they technically don't exist yet) Then my nephew was born and there was instant love. He barged his way right into my heart. Then I went to Africa and I got to meet and get to know 19 amazing kids... and once again my heart made room.

Thats when I realized love is limitless. Love has no end. I am grateful to know my Father in Heaven loves me and that I have learned that love literally is meant to last forever.

President Uchtdorf once said love requires action. I believe this with my whole heart. The love of God requires action with in the gospel and to our fellow mankind. Love of our family requires specific attention and care, as does the love of our friends. It requires devotion and most importantly selflessness.

Basically I love love, and I love the capacity my heart has to hold all of the people that I love.
