New York, Kids, and Happiness

Wow! What a week last week was! I really need to take pictures... Any way I am finally in New York. I flew into JFK, safely thank heavens, and a limo, yes a LIMO, picked me up. What the crazy. The drive was scarier than the flight. New York drivers.... ha ha I say the city from a bridge and nearly passed out. Its beautiful! I pulled up to the house which is beautiful... very old. It was built in like the 1800's... crazy! Its a lot bigger on the inside than it looks on the inside. Nicole and Dan (the parents) are so nice and I think we will get a long great. They are some what paranoid of me leaving. They make side "jokes" all of the time about me "running" away, they have had tons of Nannies do this. They have just had really unfortunate nanny experiences. Any way the kids are Brie and Nate, and they are adorable and I already love them. My favorite part of the day so far is getting them dressed and picking out their clothes. This morning we played with the train tracks and i built them this massive track, it was fun. Then we played in this tube thing they have. When i went into it they kept screaming "You're a caterpillar! You're a Caterpillar" Then when i got out Brie gasped and said " Oh! You're a beautiful butterfly!" Ha ha it was so fun. Before I knew it it was time to take them to pre-school. So i have from 12:30-3:30 every Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Pretty sweet setup.
Yesterday I went to church and am in love with my ward. There is a high hispanic population so have the time it is in spanish, there is also deaf interpretors for some of the members. It was such an amzing experience. There are girls my age doing the same thing here too! So excited! I am so glad i deceded to do this. Any way i need to get ready to pick up the kids! Later!
