Warning Africa rant :P This one will have pictures! And a video with my polyg hair that Kendra so graciously did for me. ha ha Man my hair was long. Not that its Kendra's fault that I had polyg hair... I just didn't want my bangs on my forehead they would have been sopping wet a mere 10 minutes into walking outside.
Not the point. So there was this little oasis. It was a little place we could go to get ice cold drinks. Definitely a luxury there. For some reason we always found our selves out and about in the market at the hottest time of day. It was stupid.
At least one of us was usually very dizzy and about to pass out during this jaunt. So we would go to Akusika. Mmm I am telling you Coke tastes so much better in Africa. It became a daily occurrence. We tried to take the kids with us each time. So they all got a turn. They got to get out of the orphanage, have some one on one time and get a treat. I loved it. We got to know them individually.
I miss this place. I miss the simplicity of just living day to day. You didn't worry about what your 5 or 10 year plan was. You just thought about what you would sell or buy during the next market day. I love them. They smile through everything and never lose faith in God. Its a beautiful way to live.
Ok the sweet video I have of one of these great affairs hates me and won't load.... Just know its a good one :P

Ok, well at least I learned how to french braid! Gee. :) I got to be dang good...on your hair!
