One more month! Can you even believe it?! So exctied!
Last weekend was the most perfect weekend. Garren and I (with MAJOR help from Deniece) sent out all of our wedding announcements then headed up to Provo. I had a dress fitting and we had tickets to Sunday morning session of Conference. Garren and I literally talked the entire way up. That drive has never felt so short. Its funny because we talk all the time every day.... but on our way up to Provo I realized when we are talking its always about the 5 million things we need to get done for the wedding or before we get married. It was a wonderful tender mercy from the Lord to be reminded of how much I love him and enjoy his company. I am honestly marrying my best friend. I could literally talk to him forever :)
Our friends Kali and Shelby let us stay with them. They have an extra room and a couch so it worked out. They are so wonderful to us. We watched General Conference with them and made delicious breakfast. In between the Saturday sessions Kali, Kendra and I went to my dress fitting. I was so glad Kendra came because she couldn't come when I actually bought the dress.
That night Garren, Kali and I ate dinner at J-Dawgs. Garren now admits its the best hot dog he has ever had. Mmmm so delicious. Then the men went to priesthood and we made DELICIOUS cinnamon rolls.
Sunday Garren, Kendra, Anthony, Lynsi and I all went to the morning session of conference. What an amazing session to be a part of. President Monson's talk on temples was exactly what my heart and spirit needed to hear. I am truly humbled by the shear fact that the Lord reaches all of us through his Prophets. Listen to his talk here. His words have been replaying in my head constantly through out the last couple days as I prepare to enter His temple. I am so excited to be sealed to Garren for time and all eternity. The blessings in my life are tremendous.
We have gotten a lot done, and still have a lot more to do. 30 days doesn't seem like enough to get everything done.... but it sounds like an awfully long time before I get to marry my best friend. Irony. :)
Love you all. Sorry this post was more of a journal entry... actually the last few have been like this. I haven't had time to write!
