On Sunday I went to Josie's home in Spanish fork, we watched conference, her mom made us some DELICIOUS FOOD, and I participated in their Easter tradition: which consists of eggs filled with flour and cracking them on each other's heads. It was cold (it had snowed the day before) so this all happened in the kitchen. It makes me laugh just thinking about it because my mother would NEVER allow that.... ever. (Love you mom.) It was one of the best conference's ever. I believe I say that every time... but when you're dealing with God things can only get better right :) My favorite talks were probably Jeffery R. Holland's (he epitomized the term "your never to bold when you're teaching through the spirit") and Robert D. Hales: I truly believe our greatest mission will be in the home. My other favorite was actually during the priesthood session (I watched it online). It was President Uchtdorf's talk. It was one of those talks you feel like was written specifically for you.... Ha ha it just happened to be during the Priesthood session.
Lets see Kendra and I applied for our Visa's (Mara did today). Everything is coming together! Oh and I got a sweet job! It starts right after I get back from Africa. I will be a summer camp counselor at Kindercare! I am so excited.... I tried to stay out of childcare because I get to attached but who was I fooling? No one. I love it, plus I am going to have to have kids to come back to after leaving Africa. I am sure I will have a hard time with that. I can hardly believe we leave in 24 days. Thats insane! I am so excited/nervous. Other great news: I get to go home this weekend! My momma is having surgery tomorrow so I am going to go take care of her, watch my nephew, go on a date with my daddy, and play!
Thanks for listening to my ramblings :) Love you all
